THIS KIT MUST BE USED WITH OBS LEAF SPRINGS!!

To develop this kit we worked closely with the people that matter the most, you guys! This kit is designed to retain factory OBS springs on the 1992-97 OBS (old body style) 4x4 trucks and does not requires any frame or bumper modifications. We have done extensive CAD modeling to create a modular 3 pc system which is the easiest to install on the market! Its design provides adjustability to make install as easy as possible for these older trucks that arent always exactly the same.

With this kit, you can bolt on our conversion hangers using existing holes in your frame and clear all factory bumper mounts and components. For trucks that are wanting to install an intercooler, we have designed the kit with optional bolt locations to allow additional clearance for most intercoolers end tanks. For this installation configuration, you will need to drill two additional 1/2" holes per side.

The installation of this RSK kit will provide an improvement in ride quality and handling by relocating the shackle to the rear of the leaf spring. With that change, the truck is no longer fighting against itself when it hits bumps on the road. Instead, the natural force of an impact is transferred rearward into the shackles. For the largest increase in handling and ride quality, consider our Superduty leaf spring RSK kit. It uses the same design as this kit except it uses the newer, longer leafs from a 1999-2004 application.

The kit is available in 3 different lift heights. This is the lift amount of the kit itself. The kit comes complete with the front hangers and rear shackles and all needed assembly hardware.

The kit comes with a heavy duty crossbar for additional frame support. This ties the two front hangers together and adds rigidity to the frame itself.

THIS KIT IS DESIGNED TO WORK WITH A 4x4 BOXED FRAME RAIL. IF YOU HAVE A 2WD OPEN FRAME RAIL, YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE OUR "FRONT FRAME RAIL BOX KIT" SOLD SEPARATELY

THESE WILL REUSE THE OEM LEAF HANGER UNDER THE BODY MOUNT THAT COME ON THE 4X4 CHASSIS. IF THE TRUCK IS A 2WD, YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE THE SHACKLE PIVOT BRACKET AVAILABLE SEPARATELY.

THESE KITS ARE CUSTOM BUILT TO ORDER AND TYPICALLY SHIP IN ONLY 1-2 WEEKS!

YOU MUST USE OEM OBS LEAF SPRINGS OR SPRINGS THAT ARE BUILT TO THE EXACT SPRING EYELET TO EYELET LENGTH OF AN OEM LEAF SPRING!! SOME AFTERMARKET LEAF SPRINGS ARE MADE TO SHORTER MEASUREMENTS WHICH WILL CAUSE ISSUES WITH AXLE PLACEMENT AND SHACKLE GEOMETRY. PRO COMP LEAF SPRINGS ARE PARTICULARLY PRONE TO THIS ISSUE!!
