1999-2004 Ford Superduty Bilstein 5100 Series

Installed the 5-9” lift rear shocks on my 2001 f350. Was skeptical if they would fit or not considering my truck has about a 9” lift, so I thought they would maybe be too small. Turns out these shocks have more than enough extension and are plenty big, but when it comes to compressing it’s going to be interesting considering I have only 6.5” of space til the shock bottoms out. I have no idea how these would fit anything with less than the lift that my truck has (8.5-9”). Seems like the ideal lift height for this shock would be about 10” for the rear. The quality of the shocks are great, and way nicer than my pro comps I just took off. Shipping was fast, and they came packaged very nicely. I’m sure they will feel a lot better than my blow out old shocks! I just hope they don’t destroy themselves and bottom out when I flex my truck. Time will tell..
